Industrial Materials

Industrial Materials & Surplus Stock

Industrial materials cover the wider set of materials a working site generates or needs — surplus stock, packaging, plastics, paper, process arisings and usable spares. Feasibility depends on the material, its condition and whether a suitable buyer exists.

Category scope

What Industrial Materials Covers

Both sides use this scope: buyers describe requirements against it, and sellers describe consignments against it.

What this stream includes

  • Surplus and slow-moving stock held at a site
  • Packaging materials, plastics and paper arisings
  • Process arisings from manufacturing operations
  • Usable spares, fittings and consumables

Typical examples

  • Industrial plastics, crates, drums and pallets
  • Corrugated packaging, cartons and paper baled stock
  • Rubber, glass and mixed process arisings
  • Surplus fittings, spares and unused stock
  • Cabling, hoses and general site materials
Who can sell

Who Sells Industrial Materials Through Vyqube

Both sides of the market use the same defined process, at different scales.

For businesses

Describe the material, condition, quantity and location. Where a category needs controlled handling or specific authorisation, feasibility is confirmed before any commercial discussion or movement.

How we work with businesses
For individuals

Individuals with accumulated recyclable material can also enquire. We will confirm whether it is something we can buy or route to a buyer.

Selling as an individual

Typical sellers

  • · Manufacturing, packaging and processing units
  • · Warehouses and distribution operations
  • · Project sites clearing surplus material
  • · Buyers looking to source usable industrial materials
Evaluation

How We Evaluate Industrial Materials

Value depends on what the material actually is. These are the factors we record and assess.

What we assess

  • Material type, grade description and condition
  • Approximate quantity and how it is packed or stored
  • Contamination or mixed content, where relevant
  • Location, access and transport feasibility
  • Timeline and whether the volume is one-time or recurring

Inspection

Inspection is arranged where condition, mixing or handling requirements need to be confirmed. Some categories require authorised handling and are assessed case by case.

Terms are confirmed in writing before collection. We do not quote a guaranteed price before the material has been described and, where applicable, inspected.

Routes

Available Transaction Routes

We Buy Directly

Where the material and the commercials work, Vyqube purchases it from you and moves it on into the appropriate downstream market.

We Facilitate The Transaction

Where direct purchase is not the right fit, we identify a suitable buyer, processor or recycler and coordinate the transaction between you and them.

Sourcing Requirements

If you need to source industrial materials rather than sell them, share the specification and quantity and we will confirm availability or coordinate with suitable suppliers.

Turning Waste Into Value.
